Album Notes
This is the final album for Leave. It wasn’t intended to be the final album. It was intended to be released as their latest – their third. It was special because this time, it was being recorded in its entirety in the studio. The sound was great. The songs were great. They just had two more songs to record. They could have gone only with one more because of the expense – but they figured, what the heck – they’re both good songs, let’s just go with them. The last one was Murph’s acoustic. Tuesday, June 3 – he got it done. They had thought about the song sequence. Murph wanted “On A Happy Note” to be the last one. All they needed to do now was get them mixed and they were good to go. Then life took an unexpected turn. On the night of June 6, Murph was taken from us when he was struck down by a hit and run driver.

The remaining band members pulled together to mix and finalize their last production as the band “Leave.” It is proudly dedicated to the band’s founder, Mike “Murph” Murphy. The album has been very well received. The songs are those that you won’t be able to get out of your head – catchy, well crafted, and very well performed by a group of guys that had a dynamic musical connection.

We hope you enjoy the songs as much as we do.
