ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"What It Shall Be" is Lee Jackson's first foray into the world of Jazz/Funk fusion. As with all of his works, it was created entirely "in the box" - meaning that only synthesizers and software instruments make up the quartet heard on the performance.

Lee's roots are spread wide and far. His mother raised him on classical music, while the rest of his family tried to steer him toward country & western. He took a liking to synthesized music, having heard Wendy Carlos's "Switched-On Bach" at an early age. This liking has lasted throughout his life.
