Album Notes

Arizona native and award-winning singer-songwriter, LeeLee Robert, started her professional music career at age 14, and over decades, worked her way up to singing with a 13-piece orchestra at the renowned Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. LeeLee has mastered a variety of musical genres, and for "Let Me Be The One" LeeLee dives into her long relationship with vocal jazz legacy.
“I was always deeply inspired by the album made by Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass where a single guitar and solo vocals collaborated into the most elegant, warm, and quality music experience I ever had in a song collection,” Robert said. “This was the inspiration behind my album – a real dream realized. I like music that can weave an ambience without being obtrusive. My appreciation for the great jazz vocalists is decades long, and I hope to add my voice to that distinguished roster."
