Album Notes
Out and About is an electronica album from Lee Sullivan and steps out to include pop influences. Never far from his original home of alternative British Rock, Lee asked Alex Caird (bass from Boa) to bring a funky feel into the singles “Holding the Mic” and “Give a Little Sugar”. The title single, "Looking Back", features the styling vocals of Sar:a.

Out and About started in New Malden, UK and the spiritual home of Boa. The album continued to follow Lee about as he moved three times in five years. In his travels, Lee met newcomer, 'Bear Feat' Chris Thomas, and asked him to perform vocals on "Give a Little Sugar". Kristian Sullivan plays the guitar intro to "La La". The cover artwork is by manga artist, Steve Bennett and logo design by Laurie Picard. The Youtube Video, “Looking Back”, was produced by Dominic Currie.

As drummer and co-songwriter for UK band Boa, Lee recorded three full length CDs, one EP and two singles. Boa’s two main albums are Twilight (title single Duvet from anime Serial Experiments of Lain) and their current highest-selling album on CD Baby, Get There. Lee co-produced Get There with Boa and producer Kevin Wood. Lee got into song-writing from an early age experimenting in his dad’s studio (drummer Terence Sullivan from Renaissance) and where he spent a lot of his youth. As a kid, he experimented with half-inch tapes, explored a minimoog, jupiter 8s and other early synthesisers. Lee also helped Terence produce his solo album “South of Winter”.
