ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What started as a side project of well-traveled sidemen has turned into full-time cult faves The Lee Vilensky Trio-Godfathers of the burgeoning West Coast Spy/Soul movement- featuring former members of Alvin Youngblood Hart, Queen Ida, Pearl Harbour, George Porter’s All-Stars, and The Billy Nayer Show, just to name a few. The LV3 play their own brand of evocative greasy soul music blending together an eclectic mix of exotic lounge, blues, R&B, Americana and jazz, with a touch of Norteno music and of course 60’s era surf music culled from the garages of Southern California. The Lee Vilensky Trio is all Instrumental 'cause sometimes words just get in the way.
