Album Notes
Leigh Beamer began her journey into Appalachian music two years ago when she started taking guitar lessons. She now takes claw hammer banjo and guitar from Jim Lloyd of Rural Retreat, Virginia, and fiddle from Eddie Bond of Fries, Virginia. She continues to study and embrace the old time music of the Appalachian mountains. In the Fall of 2010, Leigh released her first album, "Reflections of Me." In May of 2011, she was selected to perform on the Roots of American Music Tour along the Crooked Road of Virginia. "I'll Be All Smiles Tonight," is her second album. She is a 16 year old high school student and lives in Wytheville, Virginia.
