ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer/Songwriter Leila Lopez was born in Tucson, Az. Growing up in a very musical family, Leila quickly learned how to play the guitar by listening and watching her father. In grade school, Leila began learning how to play the Cello, and a bit of theory, broadening her knowledge of the musical world. After realizing her true dedication to music, Leila went on to learn other instruments such as drums, bass guitar, flutes, hand percussion and violin. Leila records and produces all of her albums at home with a small four track recorder and a computer, and has been distributing her albums with no outside help. Her music resembles Folk with a light Jazzy feel and has percussive latin influence at times. Leila is currently planning a west coast tour and working on a new album.

Emotional and artistically beautiful album
Leila is an extremely talented songstress. Her melodies are inspiring mixes of jazz, folk, and her own edge thrown in on top. The lyrics are thoughtful and sweet and her voice demands you to listen. Leila is a pleasure to listen to.

Sincere and honst music
Leila Lopez is exceptionally talented , but equally as important as her talent, is her sincerity. So many artists today have talent but lack honesty, not Leila. This is real music for real people, no pretension, just good songs that are meaningful.
