When Len Hawley came into our Studio to record his album in 1985,
I was quite nervous. Not only was he a famous Rochester musician,
but he had assembled some of Rochester's top musicians. And Les Osband
who owned Lifetime Recordings Studio was co-producing. The sessions
went extremely well.
I was very impressed with the way Mr. Hawley conducted the group.
Not one bad note got by him. If he heard a note out of place,
he would politely say "David, Please stop recording", and proceed
to tell a musician which note he played wrong.
Len Hawley was a true Musician, Showmen and a real gentlemen.
