Album Notes
Yes, yes… I’m Lennon and I’m a new artist with a new genre. First I’ll tell you a little about myself and then a little about my music.

I was born and raised by my mother in Flint, Michigan... one crazy city. My dad left when I was a kid so I never really knew him. Life was hard but guess I can thank him for giving me nothing because I work harder to make a life for myself. You can definitely feel that motivation in a lot of my music. I’ve been in music since age four, starting off with gospel. At about twelve I was exposed to old school rhythm and blues, jazz and classical music. I learned to play bunch of different instruments and eventually started listening to other types of music from there. Funk, Hip-hop, Soul became my mentors and I began developing my own sound. 60mhz was born out of a bet with my brother. I usually record soulish funk with a rock edge but a group of artists in Michigan wanted me to put together some tracks for them for an album. They didn’t bring the money to buy the tracks upon completion so I shelved the music. My brother heard the tracks and said I should really do something with them so I laid some lyrics and “voila” a real wild child was born in the basement! Now I've got my own band and we're working on something new.

Follow the light…
