ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Leonard Griffie is a veteran of the blues club and festival circuit, having played shows all over the United States, Canada, and several countries in Europe. His songwriting style manages to be both fresh and traditional, running the gamut from blues to old style R&B to Soul to Jazz. While considered by many to be a blazing live guitarist, on record he follows the example of his greatest influences and plays just what the song calls for. On each of his compositions, you'll hear his tasty guitar work and soulful vocals combining to perfectly compliment the melody and groove. The work is richly varied. Griffie refuses to be a "one trick pony". And every song will grab you with an infectious combination of lyric and melody, groove and killer riff. Tune in and be prepared to groove.
