Album Notes
"I'll Never Find Another You"
"You Were On My Mind"

Take a new trip with the Jangle Pop release you'll want as a must have for your collection. This CD features Les' renowned Rickenbacker 12-String Guitar stylings with some special surprises!

Endlessly catchy Rickenbacker 12-String Jangle Pop with a distinctive "sonic signature." The influence of 60's and 70's Pop with big hooks, lush harmonies, commercial production and virtuoso Rickenbacker 12-String electric guitar.

On this CD, he offers a selection of great Jangle covers from songs that influenced him as a 12-string guitarist: "I Want You" ( Bob Dylan ), "You Were On My Mind" ( by The We Five ), "I'll Never Find Another You" (by The Seekers) and TWO Paul Simon songs from the Simon & Garfunkel Songbook- "A Hazy Shade Of Winter" and his electrfying cover of "The Dangling Conversation."
All of these are hit download singles at Apple iTunes.

Les' original compositions on this CD range from brand new tunes such as "Arrow Thru Your Heart" to gems from his past such as "Still On My Way" (co-written with Raven Kane of Neil Diamond touring fame) and "Sometimes A Girl Must Carry On" which dates back all the way to his 1971 unreleased MGM/Sunflower album. Of particular interest is "Why Is This Man Smiling?" which was originally written for The Left Banke. Les' tune "Everything Is Gonna Be Allright" (a song and track featured in those long ago Left Banke sessions) is a very popular download at AOL Music Now.

Les' original signature composition title track, "Jangleholic" gives the listener a humorous account of Les' history with both the 12-string guitar and his days in Beatlemania.

This release is pressed on special LIMITED edition GOLD Colored CD's which reflect lemon yellow in bright light.

A bit of BIO:

Les Fradkin is one of the guitar legends of the 1970's. As well as being a veteran member of The Original Cast of Beatlemania, he has found success as a recording artist, composer and producer with MGM Sunflower, ESP-Disk', Bell, Arista, RCA, and Laurie Records. Les has written the well known French hit "La Chansons Des Souvenirs" ("Song Of A Thousand Voices") for the famous Mireille Mathieu. He has played 12 and 6-string Guitar, Bass, Mellotron, and Piano on dozens of Top 40 hit records throughout the early 1970's , scoring many US and UK chart placings throughout his career.

Les Fradkin was also an original member / singer / guitarist for the pop group California on Laurie Records in the US and RCA Records in the UK for it's entire existence from 1973 through 1985. California had several chart records including the 1981 release "Summer Fun Medley"-a medley of Beach Boys hits, "Jeans On", "He's Almost You" (charting in the United Kingdom) and an appearance on the Dick Clark American Bandstand television show.

In 1976, Les was selected over thousands of other auditioning guitarists to appear in the original cast of the smash hit Broadway musical "Beatlemania" playing lead guitar and the part of "George Harrison" in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago. Running for two and a half years from May 1977 thru October 1979, every show (including over 1200 in New York alone) was sold out and the musicians quickly became celebrities with magazine cover stories ("Newsweek","Time", "People", "Rolling Stone") and many major television show appearances. With his guitar-playing in the international spotlight from the show, Fradkin developed a cult following that has avidly followed his career and made him a celebrity among guitar fans.

He has enjoyed chart success on the net as well with his songs reaching mp3.com's 1 position 16 times! New Gandy Dancer Rock Magazine named Les' CD "A Day At The Beach" it's 2004 Album Of The Year. In addition, Les has performed with The Ventures as 2nd Lead Guitarist. Nokie Edwards of The Ventures has performed with Les on several occasions and is a featured guest on his "While My Guitar Only Plays" CD. In fact, Les has been acknowledged as a guitar virtuoso for over 30 years and he has been featured in issues of 20th Century Guitar Magazine, Pipeline and New Gandy Dancer Magazines.

Today, Les has released 15 solo CD's on his RRO Entertainment Indie label and has had over 300,000 downloads bringing him several substantial hits on Apple iTunes and other download sites across the Internet.

The top attraction for jangleholics in 2006!
Les sure does love that fireglow Rickenbacker 360V64 12-string guitar of his! Once again, this George Harrison model Rickenbacker is featured on the cover of Les' latest album - Jangleholic. The album features several original tunes and Les' cover versions of some of his favorite songs from the past five decades. The title track recounts Les' lifelong love affair with the jangly, chiming sound of a Rickenbacker 12-string guitar.

Roger McGuinn turned many Bob Dylan folk songs into sing-along pop tunes with 4/4 time and chiming Rickenbacker riffs; Les does the same on his version of Dylan's "I Want You." If you ever wondered what a Simon & Garfunkel tune would have sounded like with Rickenbacker 12-string accompaniment, check out Les' fab version of "The Dangling Conversation." Les shines on the other cover tunes as well as on his own compositions. Les further enhances the chiming guitar licks with the use of the superb effects pedal - the JangleBox. (It's a small world - I met JangleBox inventor Steve Lasko last year, and I ran into him again at a Roger McGuinn concert!) Les is busy working on his next release; until that disc hits the street, this album should be the top attraction for jangleholics in 2006! Move over Starry Eyed & Laughing and Starbyrd; Les Fradkin belongs in that first pew of Jangledom with you!

Byrds fans won't be disappointed!
Byrds fans won't be disappointed. Next to covers of well known songs, Les offers some of his own compositions. Fill your ears with that magical Rickenbacker 12 string sound!

Brilliant! Les is in great form: sharp, funny, and classic all at once.
I highly recommend Les' new CD, "Jangleholic". The writing and performing are really top notch. Wonderful tunes (both originals and covers), beautiful vocals, and the Ric-12 chimes throughout. The only problem I had when first listening to it was that I couldn't get past the title tune because is was so terrific. Les is in great form: sharp, funny, and classic all at once. I blasted it 4 or 5 times a row while driving with my wife before she nicely asked if we could move on and listen to the rest of the CD. Which we did, and loved.

BTW, if you don't have the previous Les Fradkin CD, "Goin' Back", you should definitely look into that one as well.

Les Fradkin writes some very good songs!
As aways Les' covers of "well-known" songs provide interesting new insights, but, on this album, it's Les' original compositions that are a revelation. "Why Is This Man Smiling" is a stunner.

Fantastic sounds! This CD really rocks. Great playing and writing. I'm a big Beatles fan and this is a great ride down BEATLE LANE.
