Album Notes
Gulf Coast native Les Kerr has become a fixture on the Nashville music scene. The songwriter and performer has recorded nine albums including his latest, Bay Street, and Contributor, released in 2015. The video for the Contributor's title song can be seen on CMT.com and has received critical acclaim.

Known for the musical style he calls “Hillbilly Blues Caribbean Rock & Roll,” Les performed his 25th Anniversary Mardi Gras Concert at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Café in 2016. Many of the songs he writes reflect his Gulf Coast, New Orleans-influenced and Mississippi background.

Les is a frequent performer at many Nashville music venues and special events, including the city's official July 4 Celebration and Southern Festival of Books. He tours as a solo performer and as leader of Les Kerr and The Bayou Band.

Along with Crystal Gayle, William Lee Golden, Jimmy Fortune and others, he was featured in Civil War Songs and Stories broadcast on PBS TV stations around the U.S. in 2012.
