ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer-songwriter Lesley Young is originally form Toronto, Canada. Moody romanticism is the key to Symphony for Two, Lesley Young's 1994 debut. Here she devotes her considerable talents to love in all it's aspects. Lesley's writing, singing and guitar playing follow the human heart through celebration, desire, lamentation, reflection. Each mood and lyric is atmospherically and passionately charged. Lesley's strengths would later reach new heights on Inside, her 2007 acoustic pop tour de force. But here, back at the beginning, on this jazz-inflected first disc, Lesley says a lot about living and loving. She also shows why she's regarded as a songwriter’s songwriter. Produced by James Pett.
