Album Notes
Leslie Pereira & The Lazy Heroes, a three piece Punk/Pop/Pub Rock band from Los Angeles, CA are announcing their highly anticipated 1st full length album titled "Fight for Now". With a release date of February 1, 2017 by Singing With Mildred Publishing, “Fight for Now” was recorded and produced by world renowned producer, Earle Mankey who has produced artists such as Concrete Blond and the Runaways.

Leslie Pereira, (formally of the bands, It's me Margaret & Alien Sex Queen) leads the group, bringing veteran, song writing flare, a sure-fit punchy guitar style and her slow vibrato vocal approach to each song. Jeff Page (formally of the band, It's me Margaret) leads the rhythm section with his mastered drum beats with Rob Lontok delivering solid, full bottom bass lines. Paula Vazquez (also from the band, It's me Margaret) joins in with backup vocals and fancy tambourine. Together they bring us a repertoire of tight, easy to follow music medleys. Leslie Pereira & The Lazy Heroes music style compares to The Pixies, The Pretenders, Throwing Muses, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, Sleater Kenney, Jenny Lewis, Best Coast, Blond Redheads and Cat Powers.
