Album Notes
LiaZons music stems from the 80's and 90's rock era. When screamming guitars, power driven beats and fire vocals roamed the Earth. Guitarist Leon and lead singer Gregor started writing music that crossed and integrated with multiple genres, from funk, rock, and metal, to classical. There are many different styles and theory principles that make up the band’s sound. Even though the energy and drive is rock based, the listener gets a good feel of the chord voicing’s that set the scene while thundering lows make their presence. This album is one of a kind the listener gets to travel back in time to hear key elements that enfluenced the writings on individual tracks.

Greg Lloyd Campbell: Lead singer, Song Writer, Guitarist
Greg started playing drums at age 12 with different gospel groups and by the age of 14 he was performing local Gigs. He has always been an entertainer and surrounded by music. At the age of 15 Greg started playing guitar after being influenced by several artist (Parliament Funkadelics, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Prince, Motley Crew, Billy Idol, Police, Steve Vai), and others. He now sings lead, plays guitar, and write lyrics for the band.

Leon W. Rahmaan: Composer, Lead guitarist
Leon has always had a deep passion for music and entertaining. He started playing guitar at the age of 16 and never looked back. He has studied with jazz and classical instructors and is always looking to take his playing deeper into the galaxy. Some of his earlier influences include (Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix, Paul Gilbert), and his later influences consist of (George Bellas, Jason Becker, Fryderyk Chopin, and J.S. Bach). Leon is currently a guitar instructor, composer, and guitarist.

Laron Newman: Drummer
Laron started playing the drums at an early age spending most of his time beating rhythmic beats on pots and pans and paint cans. At the age of 16 his grandparents rewarded him with a drum set that started his drum career. In 2003 Larson’s attitude changed after meeting several local advanced drummers he became very serious with his musician ship. He started networking with advance talent while sharpened his skills. He now plays drums for the band.

Jacob Allen Ficken: Bass player
Jacob started taken lessons at the age of 14 after his friend asked him to play bass in his band. He started playing rock, which led to metal, jazz and hip-hop. Jacob later advanced his education in music at Wayne State University with a 4 year degree in Music Theory/ Composition. One of his successful accomplishments included a rock opera / concert album that he wrote and composed at a college concert for hundreds of guest. He is now a bass instructor and plays 5 and 6 string bass.

Liazon Rocks!
Liazon's long-awaited debut album has finally been released, much to the delight of their fans everywhere. The rock band has been jamming together for over three years, mostly in the Metropolitan Detroit area, perfecting their distinctive hard-core sound. Lead vocalist and lead guitarist, Gregory Lloyd Campbell (Grego) and crew have put together a one-of-a-kind compilation of funky, stero-popping, head-bobbing rock-n-roll jams true rockers must add to their collections.

From the album titled song, "Avenging Angel" to the depth of "We Live", rock fans will find themselves rolling through track after track without missing a beat, salivating for more. "Queen of the Damn" offers an intense look into the secret life of a scorned lover, while "The Letter" fights back against the torment of a relationship gone sour with hard-core guitar licks forcing the jilted to dance away their cares. Grego's cool, raspy voice croons on to "La Sangre's" soulful beat while thoughts of a Bloody Valentine are swept away in yet another non-stop guitar and percussion tirade of mind-tingling, heart-pounding sound leaving the listener breathless.

The band's favorite tune to perform, "Afrodijiac" delivers what Liazon followers have come to expect: hard-licking beats and cool vocals that leave the audience panting with anticipation. Slowing it down just enough to take your ears to climax, "Bigamy" satisfies the senses leaving you trembling and suddenly cold. Liazon's "Avenging Angel" is a must-have for rock fans everywhere.
