Album Notes
Libbie Schrader is a singer/songwriter and Biblical scholar. After writing her song "Magdalene" and releasing a record of the same name in 2011, she became so fascinated with Mary Magdalene that she began researching the controversial Christian saint. She even went back to get two Master's degrees in theology, and learn Ancient Greek! Her Master's thesis research, which examines several strange changes in the oldest existing manuscript of John's Gospel, was published in the July 2017 issue of the Harvard Theological Review. Schrader is now pursuing her doctorate at Boston University's School of Theology.
