Talking to Everyone is the debut EP of LikeLove, the experimental rock solo project of Michelle Alexander, an Oakland-based singer/songwriter/keyboardist with a penchant for playing with weirdos. A classically trained pianist and composer with jazz chops, Alexander jumped into the indie world with a stint as keyboardist for Bill Callahan’s Smog. Since then she’s been playing in bands with an array of freak-jazz-rock players, including Gene V. Baker (The Supreme 80), Scott Pinkmountain, Will Redmond (Blipvert), Matt Nelson (Tune-Yards) and Chris Grady (Tom Waits, Beth Custer).

Recorded/mixed by Eli Crews (Deerhoof, Why?) in Oakland, Talking to Everyone features Bay Area musicians Nate Brenner (Tune-Yards), Sam Ospovat (Beep!), Jordan Glenn (Weiner Kids), monster guitarist Ava Mendoza, and Emery Barter (Man/Miracle).

Eclectic, surreal, grandiose and often silly, Talking to Everyone moves through a wide breadth of stylistic territory, from the Pixies-meets-Japanese-pop track opener to a psychedelic Hawaiian-ish power ballad, to the Loveboat-punk of 'Miss Me'.
