ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Fountain of Uke 10th Anniversary Edition is a musical romp across three albums all rolled into one!
Culling the best material from Fountain of Uke 1 & 2, while also adding 9 new tracks of rooted originals and timeless treasures from old time tunes like Rye Whiskey to Novelty numbers like I Used To Work In Chicago, this collection is geared towards the die hard ukulele fan who loves his or her ukulele front and center, stripped down, and bare bones. Just great songs old and new! If Leadbelly, Wood Guthrie, Ukulele Ike and Josh White, all sat around swapping tunes on the ukulele, this is what it would sound like...a musical road map of American roots & branches, with a heavy dose of originality.

This album features Banjo-Uke, Resonator Ukes, Baritone, Soprano, Concert, Tenor and Taropatch instruments.

Lil Rev is the author of The Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book Series and 7 other ukulele books thru Hal Leonard Corp.

Lil Rev is also the 1996 National Blues Harmonica Champion and was Voted Best Folk Singer in WI in 2004.

"Lil Rev is the Woody Guthrie of the Ukulele" - Earnest Instruments
"Lil Rev is the Jewish Pete Seeger." - Rabbi Larry Milder
"Lil Rev is a Wisconsin Treasure." UWM Folk Center
