Album Notes
Linda Good is a composer, producer, songwriter and pianist. Her debut solo CD, “Love is a Curious Thing” features the hit “Love Is…” She was the former touring keyboardist for Jane’s Addiction, The Mars Volta, The Lisa Marie Presley Band and Bitter:Sweet. She co-founded the alternative pop band, The Twigs, with twin sister Laura Good in Chicago. Her songs, compositions and music production have been heard in many TV shows and films, including Entourage, True Blood, Gossip Girl, and in the Sundance Award-winning film, American Teen. Frequent collaborations include side projects as The Plush Interiors (with James Combs), Lady Stardust (with Joey Peters from Grant Lee Buffalo) and The Twigs. She produced the debut album for The Shaker Sisters, “All Night Through.
After an early childhood living in Mexico City, she grew up in Chicago, attended the Academy for the Performing Arts High School, and attended college in the UK. Her solo music mixes songwriting influences from The Beatles, PJ Harvey and Bowie, with electronic and organic beats. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays piano, keys, vocals, guitar, bass and percussion. She is now based out of Los Angeles.
Current projects include producing the new album for Quazar and The Bamboozled (aka Brandon Jay, composer for Showtime’s Weeds), vocal production for the new album by jazz singer Jenniphyre Zias, co-writing and co-producing the new single “I’m Alseep, I’m Awake” for Lady Stardust, and new music with The Twigs.
