ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Songwriter/singer/guitarist Linda Heck produces her first solo album- recorded, mixed, and mastered in Memphis by Doug Easley (plus London, Nashville and Sewanee remote sessions). Featuring Linda on vocals and guitar, John McClure on electric and acoustic bass, Kurt Ruleman on drums and percussion, Jimi Inc. on guitar and backing vocals, Jim Spake on sax and clarinet, Jim Duckworth on guitar, Rick Steff on keyboards and theremin, Doug Easley on pedal steel and guitar, Greg Easterly on texture violin, Jonathan Kirkscey on cello, Matthew Christian on banjo, Mark Harrison on guitar, Sean T. Faust on didjeridoo and Adam Woodard on backing vocals. Powerfully beautiful vocals float on the cream of the cream of Memphis musicians, surrounded by ambient drones of unknown origin, inviting appreciation of life's mystery, sorrow, and joy. Moving, inspirational, weird, and ass-kicking.
