Congratulations Linda!
Congratulations Linda on your Grammy nomination! Your song "Things I've Been Through 08" so moving! Reminds me of a few of the blues ballads by the Chevy Ford Band such as: "Ain't Working Blues", "Forgetable", or "Lord, Oh Lord". As a fellow CDBaby indie artist CFB would love for you to hear some of their originals. Peace.

linda Jones \"Soul Talkin\"
This Project really has been a true labour of Love.
Be prepared to be Hypnotized Again :-

How could we possibly imagine the emotions flowing in the Production of these 12 tracks by Helen Bruner and Terry Jones even the sleeve notes themselves give an insight into the insupportable behaviour of people Linda trusted without question.

Hence track 2.\"Cheated\" sung with force by Helen and Terry which reflects what happened to Linda in her career ( gotta tell you girls I feel this track )awesome.

Tracks 1. and 12. have Linda rapping to the beat
\" Soul Talkin \" with a tinkling keyboard backed by Helen and Terry singing the title to great effect.

3. \" Baby I Know\" joined by the girls again on a builder with Linda giving some Soul with that Oh so wonderful echo in the delivery. If I had one fault with this track,it just finishes too soon.

4. LJ recording Interlude with some guy in the studio saying take five roll it and is that Linda coughing ? Wow !

5. \" Can I Dig It\" with Terry giving Mom some SOUL
on the backing...this really is GOOD.

6.Linda`s 2 minute slow jam.....\"I`d like to say a few words it wont take very long\"...Linda rapping the intro.once again with the girls woooing the backups.

7.LJ recording Interlude :- \" Ok still rolling take four \" say`s the studio technician adds atmosphere to the

8.\" Miss New \" written by Terry, Helen and the Poindexter brother`s Richard and Robert.

9. \" Sway Me \" this is a highlight I love the production on this the vocals really hit home...hell is that a tear rolling down my cheek.

10. LJ Interlude this i think is Robert talking to Rich(ard) for track 10...nice touch.

11.\" Things I`ve Been Through 08 \" this is Linda and the girls almost getting back to the church
including the Lady rapping midway...

As mentioned before the Outro when Linda thanks the audience as track 12.

I really cannot recommend this Project enough for so many reasons, this has been a true treasure unearthed and presented by the family , I dont think anyone else could have given the heart and Soul Terry Jones and Helen Bruner have given to this.
There are a number of testimonials by SDF members on the inside sleeve. Along with thanks to musicians old school and new i suspect ?

Mentions to Messers Gamble and Huff, with a really nice aside to Mom #2 Mrs Bruner.

I will leave the last to Terry Jones :-
\" To God for blessing me with a beautifully gifted and talented Mom.\"

Ladies, Thank You for this wonderful reminder of what Soul music means and the gift of Linda Jones....Many Congratulations.

What can i say wonderful, terrific, soulful this project is all this and more. I\'m reminded when music touched your gut, made you feel passion in the music and how the vocalist delivered the messege and you felt every note that was sung. We\'ll this is Linda Jones and i\'m Hypnotized.
