ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My musical influences have been infiltrated by a world of genres. These songs are an interplay between knowledge of my predecessors and the raw material of my life experiences.
Jazz is a “mutt,” and this album is my sweet mongrel.
“The Unforeseen” is a concept that was coined by Canadian author Robertson Davies in his novel Fifth Business. It is a perfect description of life. When it throws us a curve, the only choice is to follow.
Sam Sharkawy, in addition to bringing his guitar artistry to the songs, collaborated on writing, arranging and producing.
Engineered, mixed and mastered by the legendary Nick Blagona, who worked his remarkable ability to imagine the nuance, scope and story of a song, and translate it into the production of the piece.
