ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Linda Marks is a singer-songwriter and pianist known for her heart to heart style. Songs from the heart touch the heart of the listener. Linda believes music is magic. It touches. It inspires. It expresses. It heals. It brings us all together and helps us know we are not alone. For Linda, music was her first language, finding her way to the piano as a toddler, writing songs intuitively. Music has literally been the soundtrack of her life.

Linda performs in the Boston area as a duo with guitarist Terry Smith and with her seven piece band at top listening venues including Scullers Jazz Club, Passim, Ryles, Amazing Things Arts Center, the Newton Festival of the Arts, the Java Room, Dedham Square Coffeehouse and more. Linda runs a monthly intimate house concert series, the Music Salon, building community through music and art. Linda has appeared on All Things Considered with Lisa Mullins on National Public Radio and her Heart To Heart show was written up in the Boston Globe West section.
