Every Road

by Linda Sussman

The masterful lyrics and soaring vocals, reminiscent of Baez and Mitchell, tell stories of personal and political challenges as well as triumphs, love and hope. The title track, "Every Road,' with a haunting African drumbeat, honors every person's path.

After a 10-year hiatus and two prior solo CDs ("Breathe Easy" and "Fly Away"), Linda Sussman has returned to the music scene with her latest CD, "Every Road," an eclectic mix of 11 original songs. With lyrics that speak out against social injustices (misogyny, homophobia, racism) and deliver messages of love and hope, each track is delivered straight from the heart.

"Every Road" musicians:
--Linda Sussman: lead vocals, backup vocals, rhythm guitar
--Mike Nugent (of Cadillac Moon fame): lead electric and acoustic guitars, electric bass, dobro, and ukulele, backup vocals
--Richie Guerrero (of Latinology fame): drums, percussion
--Cindy Quart: electric keyboards
--Gabrielle Schavran: cello (on "Lullaby")

Production credits:
--Co-produced by Mike Nugent and Linda Sussman
