ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This 7-song album is all about sharing the evolution of the heart through song. Compared to Lindee's first album, "Songs from Tokyo," this new collection of music embodies the more bold, dynamic and uplifting aspects of Lindee's voice and songwriting. Producer Enrique Gonzalez Muller played a critical role in bringing out the eccentricity of each song, resulting in a truly unique soundscape of audible color, flavor and texture. Lindee's motivation for recording this album lies in her desire to embrace this journey of life, and the people she meets along the way. She hopes that this music will nourish and bring happiness to all who listen.

Lindee's earliest musical influences were of American classic musicals, such as "Singing in The Rain," "American in Paris," "Meet Me in St Louis." Japanese pop music from the 80's and 90's such as Matsuda Seiko, Mr. Children and Utada Hikaru, to name a few favorites. Later in her teens, Lindee fell in love with Jazz and Classical music. Lindee's all-time favorite singer is the timeless Ella Fitzgerald. Lindee has always lived between Japan and the Seattle area and writes her songs in both Japanese and English. She performed around Tokyo and Yokohama (2008 to 2012) and has deep love and appreciation for her roots there. Lindee plans to continue to span her music and build a strong following in both parent-lands.
