Album Notes
This is a nostalgic and personal mural of stories for everyone. Themes of a love affair, her son leaving home, marriage of another son, her fathers' Alzheimer’s, visiting her mother's homeland in Iowa and frustrations of Mercury in retrograde. True to her eclectic tastes and talent, Lisa's jazzy voice blends 40’s style of Andrews Sisters harmonies, Joni Mitchell folk influence as well as rocker Stevie Nicks with her elegant piano, accompanied with occasional fiddle, cello, and trumpet, serving up yummy auditory treats topped with a dash of humor. This brilliant collaboration of musicians includes Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Penny Nichols.

A singer/songwriter living in the Rocky Mountains, Lisa shares her inspirations in her five recordings: FIRST SOLO, POINT OF BALANCE, SOPHIA SONGS, LIGHT YEARS and her latest "Anthem for Humanity" A SONG OF LOVE. She has been a featured artist in many environmental concerts including World Balance Symposium, Sierra Club Benefits and has opened for jazz pianist Peter Kater and shared the stage with Grammy award winner Ernie Watts performing the title cut of POINT OF BALANCE.
