Singer-songwriter and radio show host for WVOA-FM radio, Lisa Notar made the transition from secular to Christian music back in 1989 after writing her first song. Her first CD, "God Is With Me," was released after 9/11 in remembrance of the victims, their families and the relief workers who worked daily at Ground Zero. Then in 2003, she released her "Look to Jesus" album of praise music which received great reviews and airplay in Central and Upstate New York. Now, with this new release, "Love Connection," a compilation of love songs, Lisa hopes to attract both Christian and secular audiences alike.

Tune in and listen to Lisa's radio show, "Christian Music Journey" on "Love Radio," every Thursday from 5:30-6:00 p.m.

Twenty percent of the album's proceeds will go to international relief organizations like Save the Children, Feed the Children and others here in the U.S. who reach out to help homeless children and their families.

Lisa prays that you will listen to songs like "Look to Jesus", "It's Been You" and "God's Gonna Get Us Through" and that you'll ask Jesus into your life if you haven't already. Read John 3:16 and receive His amazing grace.

Lisa extends a huge heartfelt thank you to the “symphony” of talented musicians who contributed to these songs: Mark Chatwin, who helped her arrange the music and who played down the tracks for the piano, acoustic guitar, and drum, organ, violin and bass sequencing.
Joe Carello played the show stopping flute and sax.
Ed Gorham gave everything a charge with his electric guitar solos and riffs.
Josh Dekaney on drums kept a great beat with some unique stuff.
Jeff Bradbury offered a super drum track for "Love Is A Funny Thing."
Joe Davoli played his heart out on the violin and mandolin. Rob Robson blew a traffic stopping trumpet solo for Rush Hour.
Peter Kirk Hopper was digital mastering engineer extraordinaire.
Adam Schickling created the lovely CD design.
Vanessa Sands is the esteemed website designer.
Kim Miner was the CD type designer
Tommy Scott and Lou Secreti at CRS Media Corp. with the final track changes and CD replication.

CNY fan

We're going to hear more of her, for SURE
Amazing vocalization, composition, lyrics and instrumentals! Everything about this CD is nothing short of spectacular. I'm no Christian music fan, believe me, but a friend had this playing in her car and I had to have this CD. I was surprised and delighted to find these songs from a heretofore Christian-music performer apply to my human relationships ;-) Ms. Notar is a name we're going to hear more of...a voice like that is going places.
