ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My intentions with this CD were none other than songs I have written, just to write them. I had no plan...no one, or no particular thing I was writing for. So, they all came from a very honest place. The music was also recorded in the same fashion. The players and I played to what we felt the songs were calling for. I guess that is the freedom of being an independent artist! I like to believe because of the pureness of the process, this album turned out to be something I am super proud of! Please enjoy, and know, this CD was made with a lot of thought (and time!), and love for a craft that the musicians and I still deeply care about.

Living in Nashville, I am so very fortunate to be able to utilize such great musicianship and the magic that can happen when recording a song. Musicians often get the short end of the stick, but play such a huge role in the sound of the song, and why they are so great. The people who engineer, and mix, then master, are often forgotten in the process. So, a big thanks to the people who have given these songs some life!
