ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Introducing: The Little Brother Band, the core of which consists of Wes Reamsbottom, Dan Myers, Kelly McQuillan, Tyler Friesen, and Davis Friesen. Wes provides the pure and raw vocal sound, acoustic guitar, percussions and a knack for writing great lyrics, while Dan provides a soulful voice, excellent songwriting, keys and some kick-ass bluesy lead guitar. Kelly adds an element of class and R&B to the band with her elegant keys and soulful saxophone. Tyler Friesen brings a touch of jazz into the band with wicked pocket drumming and an amazing sense of dynamics. Davis (White Chocolate) Friesen; the newest and youngest member of the band provides the funky bass and rekindles the spirit of The Little Brother Band with this new brother connection.

This talented home-grown BC band makes their home in the Vancouver area and just released their new album, Reflections this August 2006!

The Little Brother Band was formed in October, 2002 and has over thirty years of combined recording and performing experience. The band came together because of their passion for powerful vocal harmonies and a straight-up, acoustic folk/rock sound.

The Little Brother Band currently performs all over the B.C. at Venues such as: The ROXY, The Railway Club, Biminis and The WAG in the Lower Mainland; as well as Dusty's / Merlin's up in Whistler and Avalon Farms / The Duncan Showroom Garage on Vancouver Island.

A great debut!
This is a very promising beginning to what should be a long and prosperous career for The Little Brother Band. Great lyrics and musicianship, with a wonderfully diverse sound that keeps the energy high throughout the album. The beautiful piano and great guitar solos help make songs like "Simmer" and "Lonely Dreams" some of my favourites.

Great work!
