What About Us- Album was originally pre-released on CD BABY. The Album has now had its Official UK release in September. You can see some reviews below. So what is this album all about. Check it out.

Following the success of their debut single Where's The Love', and their follow up single "What About Us", which open at #4 on the UK DMC Urban Update Chart in June, West Coast RnB act Livin' Out Loud is releasng their newest album titled "What About US." "Where's The Love" and "Lately" have also charted on the Hip List and Street Soul charts in Blues and Soul magazine.

Slick RnB sounds blend effortlessly with the soft & silky vocals of Reuben MacCalla, Sylvia MacCalla, Lisa LaShawn and Martini with contributions from Crisis.

Tracks like, "Brokeazz", Hey Yo" and "What You Came Here For" with their infectious grooves are complimented by the laid-back feel of "You Are My Sunshine/All That Really Matters", Lately, and "So Amazing". The track "Lately" is currently on both the Blues & Soul "Hip List" and the Urban Essentials "Soul Street Chart". The track "Static" is also a fine example of classic West Coast funk, "Make Me Move" and "Had Enough" provide RnB/Pop crossover, while the singles and are simply great songs that give this Soul/RnB/Hip Hop album a real timeless quality.

Track 15 is only available digitally, so check iTunes to get the 15th song.

LIVIN’ OUT LOUD- come with some solid cuts
Seriously underrated American R&B act come with some solid cuts, the killer being the ultra radio-friendly “Lately”.

Phil Benelin

Ridiculously good
This is some powerful music here, why aren't they on the radio? Get rid of the white man, add another brother, and this group could be huge.

All in all, a very consistent debut effort. Track To Check: So Amazing
What About Us is the mature sounding debut offering by the Livin crew. Just like their name, the two girl/two guy quartet act out their everyday experiences over 14 tracks that give each member equal opportunity to display their talents. The LP sees the group talk about being broke (Brokeazz), falling in love (All That Really Matters) and out of love (Where’s the Love). Elsewhere, You’re My Sunshine offers a new twist on the popular 1940’s tune as the group harmonizes perfectly. All in all, a very consistent debut effort. Track To Check: So Amazing (E’BW’E)

Love this group
This (in my opinion) is the next R & B superstar group period. Their cohesiveness, smooth lyrics and energy come across on all cuts. I am looking for BIGGER things coming from them soon.

Great voices.. interesting lyrics
Livin Out Loud needs to concentrate more in the US.. they are like Destiny's child mixed with good music.. + great guy voices..

I Love this Group.
I really love the songs of this group, they remind me of this Group out of Gary, Indiana called Here & Now.

If it's glossy, airbrushed looking sex-appeal you're after, Livin out Loud don't quite cut it aestheticall. But no matter, it's the music we're interested in. this four piece group made up of two boys and two girls , have been doing ther thing in Los Angeles, where front-lining band member Reuben MacCalla has been writing and producting to culminate the Livin Out Loud sound. The group have also worked with pioneering British acts such as DJ karl "Tuf Enuff' Brown and creative Producers 2Dar. So what is their music like? It's soulful, it's jazzy, it's got a modern-urban twist, yet they take it back to old-skool, with some smooth swing grooves. When listening to What About Us one can't help but make comparisons. It's something along the lines of a Lucy Pearl meets Craig David meets SWV. The beauty of the album is its variation. It's easy listening and although vocally it's nothing we haven't heard before, stylistically the hybrid sound works well. What About Us is eclectic enough to appeal to a cross-generational audience, so both you and your Nan could be shacking out to this one!

Livin Out Loud are a US quartet who are big out on the West Coast. Their sound is soul with a hint of rap from New York based Pureto Rican, Crisis. As is often the case, their music has been championed in this country (UK) by club DJs and this album has been given a leg up from UK mixers 2 Darc and Thomas Burbree. So what we have is a kind of hybrid album that could appeal right across the black music spectrum. However, UK modern soul people are notoriously conservative and though they'll lap up some of the cuts here, I don know that they'll also balk at some of the rap interludes. Equally the hip-hop crowd might well find the soul a tad too smooth for ther more contemporary tastes. Soul boys I know will dig the lovely and lithe "Lately" (not the Stevie song, by the way). Featuring Sylvia MacCalla on lead vocal its one of the sweetest mid tempo grooves I've heard all year. Equally the group's harmonic take on the oldie "You Are My Sunshine" is real old skool soul. However, I can't see the hip hop brigade connecting with those cuts- excellent as they are. They'll no doubt go to stuff like "What About Us" and "Where's the Love" which both appear in two incarnations with not alot to choose betwwen them... and where do I stand on all this? Well , I consider myself broadminded enough to dig all takes on black music and I also believe that our music must evolve to survive. here Livin Out Loud are offering something just a touch differnet and I urge you to investigate.

Soulful very soulful.
This is one hell of a cd. i love this stuff!

Livin out Loud is one of the best unknown groups in the USA.
I think that this group "Livin out Loud" is a group that should think about making themselves known in the USA instead of the UK. They are soulful and talented. This CD, like all the others they have released is great.
