What Does Christmas Mean to You

by Liz Mandeville

I was thinking of Otis Redding's raw soul vocals & classic Motown Christmas offerings when I wrote and produced this song. Proceeds from this song will go to benefit the Red Cross, thanks!

Album Notes
Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Master Artist, Liz Mandeville, brings her Memphis soul side to this simple, heartfelt track. Liz wrote this song. She sings it with unadulterated passion in her husky alto voice, adding harmony and vocalise that'll make you shiver. She also plays all the instruments and produced the track with love. She's giving part of the proceeds from sales of these Christmas songs as a gift to the Red Cross, the people that show up, no matter what, to give aid in desperate times.

So often, at this time of year, the true reason for the season is lost in the shuffle. Everybody's scrambling to get that perfect gift, perfect outfit, have the best party, but Christmas is really a time to reflect on all the joy that life offers all year long and how lucky we are to live in a time of plenty. No matter what you celebrate at the turn of the year, it's a time to express gratitude for friends, family and to give to those less fortunate. Liz Mandeville created this Christmas message with the hope that it'll make you smile, give thanks and maybe buy the track so she can give more generously to the Red Cross and their many missions. Thank you.
