ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Richard Llewellyn-Davies is a folk singer and songwriter from South London (UK). Over the years he's been the lead singer in a whole load of cool bands, including the legendary 'Trailsmith', and has toured round folk clubs and festivals in England and Ireland. He started performing as a solo artist when the last band broke up back in 2006 and has taken off with a bang on the London folk scene since then.

His 2008 Debut solo album 'I'll Be A Sailor' is the culmination of eight years of work, songwriting and performing stripped down into ten tracks that have stood the test of time.

Richard's songwriting is up close, personal and socially conscious, tapping into shared human experiences and the ups and downs of relationships and with some humour thrown in for good measure!
