Everything, Everything
Biased Opinion since I attempt to play my longneck banjo at the weekly jam that Bert hosts in St Augustine each Sat. morning at the Anastasia Farmers Market; come join in if your ever in town. The Band's musicians are all quality players; it's all original scores (three hots and a cot by the attorney of the group (I think...)) except Cotton Eyed Joe (this version does really swing). All the music swings and there's a dose of irreverence involved. If you're a Progressive, anti-war veteran, small farmer, in the South or Mid-West (Ohio Black Swamp Blues) Democrat you might really like this Music. Google Stetson Kennedy if you're not sure who he is and check out the trio's (now a quatro) website. Their CD's get better and better so naturally this one is great!
