ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The anxiously awaited 4th album from the legendary San Francisco live-looping Cello and Vocal duo LOOP!STATION combines the intense power these two are famous for with an even greater musical commitment to such pieces as 'All You Want' written for the new ballet 'The Way We Fall' choreographed by Alexsandra Meijer, performed by the Ballet San Jose..
These compositions show LOOP!STATIONs un-flinching commitment to pushing the boundaries of the 'live-looping' movement, creating seemingly impossible soundscapes that are honest and moving on a level that is almost unheard of. Robin Coomer and Sam Bass are not messing around.
OK. Maybe a little..
As of today, this recording is the pinnacle of LOOP!STATIONs talents and efforts, though their live performances are an animal all its own, this work gives a new voice to the ups and downs of what is, and what everyone knows about the battle of LOVE vs. LOVE. Who wins? You be the judge....

whoa!!!!!
WHAT A STRANGE AND TOTALLY AWESOME ALBUM! SUPER INTENSE... GLIDING SOUNDSCAPES THAT ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING AND DEVELOPING, MUSICAL MOTIVES THAT APPEAR AND RE-APPEAR 6 MINUTES LATER IN A TOTALLY NEW CONTEXT. BEAUTIFUL, LILTING HARMONIES. CASCADING CHAOS IN THE FORM OF A BIG PIECE OF INCREDIBLY ORGANIZED MUSIC. OH, AND THE ONE SONG WITH NO LOOPS... JUST OUTSIDE, IT ALMOST MADE ME CRY. YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE THIS RECORD, BUT I AM SURE YOU'LL LOVE IT.
