Andy Ellis, senior editor of Guitar Player magazine stated "LoPiccolo's impeccably executed, imaginative arrangements reveal his mastery of the guitar and its most subtle timbres."

The 2004 Sierra Madre Music release "Passages" contains twelve original compositions by Joe LoPiccolo and features an impressive line-up of guest musicians including renowned guitarists Andrew York and Miroslav Tadic. great album
This is a very original and very beautiful album. Great playing and amazing compositions, highly recommended if you like Jazz and World music.

Fantastic album featuring ome of the west coast's finest musicians
I went to school with Joe and always found his writing to be fresh and invigorating. He marvelously melds his many influences into a beautiful listening experience. Special nod Eric Barber (saxes) for his performance on this recording.
