Album Notes
Singing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I used to sing with my dad when I was a child, needing to stand on a chair to reach the microphone. When I was in my early teen years, I sang in a group called the Lightbearers directed by my dad's brother. In high school, there was the traveling choir and many fond memories with that.

Even though I've continued to sing some over the years, as I've gotten older, singing has sort of taken a back seat because of other things getting in the way, but a couple of years ago, my husband encouraged me to make my first CD, Peace in the Valley. He had to give me some major encouragement, but it was a wonderful experience and something that I feel was blessed by the Lord. The next year, I recorded the second CD, entitled, Going Home, dedicated to my mom, who passed away at the end of 2006. There is one song on each CD that is sung by my daughter, Megan. It has been a joy to sing with her as she has grown into a beautiful young lady.

It is my prayer that each person to listens to one or all of these songs is blessed in a way that draws them closer to the Savior because at the end of the day, there is nothing more important than our personal relationship with the Lord of the universe.
