ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Losing the Fight was established in November of 2003. Losing the Fight is Matt Aleman (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Chesnutt (guitar), Mike O'Pry (bass), and Jose Cisneros (drums). Half the band hails from Houston, TX the other half Beaumont, TX. The bands sound is focused more on vocals/well written songs and a driving rock groove with no screaming at all in any of the bands songs. A mixture of Northstar, Brand New, and My Chemical Romance, just straight ahead rock, with a young perspective on life, full of angst, and regret.

Losing the Fight has played all over Houston, Beaumont, and Nederland (all over Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana). The band has a 4 song EP titled Goodnight that features some early-on songs all written before Losing the Fight was born. The bands second EP, The Best You Could Do.., contains 7 songs that greatly describe the style and vibe of this band. They were all written by Losing the Fight and maliciously practiced, and played on the stage.

The stage show really defines this band, all of the energy and emotion of every song comes through. Losing the Fight has merch; T-shirts, and CDs, with more stuff to come...
