Album Notes
This composition is an answer to a duet composition that Jose Luis Merlin wrote and gave to me following our travels together in Argentina, Mexico, and the USA. His duo composition is a second guitar part to Fernando Sor’s famous Estudio in B minor. Jose Luis titled it “Otoño en El Escorial” and we premiered it in California in 2005. I named my composition Snowfall in El Escorial. It is based on a winter visit to Jose Luis’ home in Spain.
