Album Notes
Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Loveseat Congregation is the brainchild of songwriting partners Latrice Barnett (vocals) and Jordan Glasgow (keyboards). Longtime friends and collaborators, Glasgow and Barnett first met in 1999 when they began performing with San Francisco neo-soul group Five Point Plan.

Nearly two decades later, the two have established a unique writing style that blends soul, r&b and gospel à la Betty Lavette, Aretha Franklin and Carole King. Combine this with one of the Bay Area's most sought-after rhythm sections comprised of Keith McArthur (bass), David James (guitar) and Jan Jackson (drums), and you have something exceptional.
