ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In this second CD of LPKaster Theremin, the artist fulfills the promise of his first, THICK AS STEEL. More than any other thereminist, he uses the medium of electronic sound manipulation to provide a rich, textural soundscape. Stars of the Fallen Angels demonstrates the tapestry that can be woven together with the theremin’s gliss and articulation. Keyboard strings and theremin vocals are, in this case, reciprocal. The tracks sparkle. Leon Termen, a cellist and inventor of the theremin, would be proud of where LPKaster has taken his instrument. The ability of the theremin to sing and harmonize have only begun to be explored.
