Album Notes
Sadly no more, The Lucas Group are the lost heroes of modern English Folk. They were a meeting of kinds, a band with mutual devotions and unbendable will. They wrote, played and sang poetry and stories, after a folk and country fashion. This album was inspired by sweethearts, friends and ex-lovers, tragic yet optimistic, dark yet dappled with sunshine, it is the tuneful self-righting of capsized minds. A labour of love and loss.
