Album Notes
Lukas Froehlich has been performing live on stage and in the studio with stars like Chico O’Farrill, Mousse t., Mojo DJs, Kevin Spacey and many others. In 2006 he put together an explosive mixture of heavy-weight professional musicians to form the band LUCASONIC.
With Matthias Trippner on drums (RAD, Stefan Raab), Martin Hornung on keyboards (weekly appearances on MTV with the Sarah Kuttner Band) and Sven Kerschek on bass (HR), the mission was clear from the beginning – deliver some hip-shakin’ funk made in Berlin.
The band went into the recording-studio straight away and now proudly presents its debut album “The Beat”. Screaming horn sections and wild vocal harmonies are balanced with solid beats and bad-ass grooves. If you are wondering what’s special about the all original music of Lucasonic, check out their works such as “Pick You Up”, “Play Off” or “Talking”.

Absolutely Stimulating
Where in the hell have you been man? This kicks major rump. This sound is as tight as a rope around a slaves neck (sorry for the comparison). But damn, this is what's missing from (mainstream)radio. If you all are getting bored to the shores of insanity with the same ol' mass produced crap being fed to us these days, let it be known a new messenger has finally arrived to deliver a buffet of funky stuff. Not since PRINCE have something gotten my attention from the first bar as this.
