Album Notes
I started playing music at about 11 years old, just messing around with a cheap keyboard. Then I started writing and singing songs, learned trumpet and found the urge to rap my poetry instead of just reading it. I played trumpet in school bands from 6th grade until I switched to tuba in 11th grade. My Salem High School concert band won the state championship and the marching band came in second. I retired from school band at the top of my game after 11th grade to concentrate on my own music. My interest in rap lead me into a group that had contacts and producers so I did shows with them for about 2 years. We did university events and clubs, opening up for a few platinum selling national acts.

I was done with them after graduation. I decided that only original music for me after then. So I joined a funk/rock band and then taught myself to play guitar. After the band broke up, I started buying recording equipment and more instruments that I learned to play by ear. Then I recorded on my own and eventually put out some indie albums in my local area of Virginia Beach, Virginia. In 2004 I was diagnosed with kidney disease so the music was put on the shelf. I started my media company, SPOIO Inc., in 2008. I released my first book, Wealth Building Strategies of the Super Rich: How to start a Family Dynasty, in November of 2009. After 22 months of dialysis, I received a kidney transplant in March 2010. My second book, The Boss, came out in March 2012.

In September of 2012, I decided that it was time for me to re-ignite my music career, so I put on the headphones and went to work finding my next album. After many different arrangements and names, Luciano Illuminati, the self-titled album of indie rock/alternative music was born. Release Date: January 22, 2013. I made 9 music videos mixing visuals with lyrics to support the album.

In May of 2015, I began putting the finishing touches on my long-awaited summer song; Life’s a Beach, about life, love and growing up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I re-did the vocals for the verses from an earlier recording of the song and added the guitar solo. I had it mastered by the innovative new mastering company, LANDR.com. I had wanted two other people to sing on the chorus, but they backed out at the last minute, so I is the writer, the singer, the performer and producer of the song of my life. The first radio station in the world to play the song is ILoveIndie.com on 6-15-2015. I became Facebook friends with the Founder, Chris Bishop, right before the official launch of the site after the beta test phase in the summer of 2014. My self-titled album, Luciano Illuminati, is on the site as well.

This is the full length album featuring Life's a Beach, Don't Go and The Virginia Beach Song; which Mayor Will Sessoms of Virginia Beach says he is honored that I wrote about the greatest city in the world. I don't know about that, but he certainly feels that way. Give it a chance.
