ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lucky always dreamt that he would one day produce an instrumental guitar album like those of his idols. An album that more than anything, he would feel proud of. With the experience he has today, there is no better time for this, his debut release, which has finally come to fruition. The debut album from Lucky features 13 songs primarily with the guitar in mind. Every track on this album is diverse in structure and style; each conjuring different emotions and technical elements.

If you are a fan of virtuosity, then this album features great musicianship from each of the players. Or maybe you just love to listen to great, fresh, new music for all your everyday moods. If so then this is most definitely a "must-have" album.

This is great - but just who is Lucky Singh?
I first became aware of Lucky on You Tube - the site of choice for the modern music afficionado! From there, I had to track down the CD. This is great - probably not quite 5 stars, but a very good effort. The songs are excellent and the playing (all instruments) is top notch. If I had to nitpick, I would suggest that the CD could have benefited from tighter production, but I imagine Mutt Lange was probably busy at the time. Seriously, this is well worth a listen. if you like guitar-based instrumentals - for me Memory Man and Razorback are the standout tracks and both are brilliant (check them out on You Tube, as well as his cover of "Curse of Castle Dragon" - very, very good), but the standard is high throughout. In a world full of great players who can transcribe and play anything on guitar (sadly, I am not that talented), Lucky might just be a musician that displays signs that he has that little something extra. Well worth keeping an ear out for future work.
