Album Notes
Lumi is funk fusion at it's finest. Rocking dub reggae to electronic dance funk. We are ready to spread our groove jelly around the world. Lumi resides in the small town of Marquette, Michigan nestled on the shores of Lake Superior. We are inspired by our friends, Lake Superior and our dynamic season changes. We hope our listeners can feel our love oozing out the speaker, and hope they seek to see us where the magic really happens -- at our live performances.

LUMI studio triumph
I have known these songs and the men who loved and smithed them into beautiful, powerful, dynamic music for 2 years and have been at most of their live shows. LUMI has attained nearly every musical goal I set for myself: orchestral rock beyond "prog", universal appeal, dance, and cohesiveness. I watched Ethan prepare his work and bring Elephant to the band. And saw the full evolution of every one of these tracks. Recently, Ethan played the final premix for me, and my immediate reaction was, "I have finally heard recorded music that sounds better and even more powerful than their totally molten live shows ." A bargain. And their 9/7/ at the Marquette band she'll is an absolute must see.
