Splinter

by Lunic

A colorful deviation from the typical electro pop sound of Lunic, her 2008 EP, 'Splinter' takes an organic spin with its raw, piano-based arrangements featuring acoustic violin & viola. A lyrically poignant, classically melodic, melancholy drama.

Brilliant new songs from Kaitee Page
Tremendous follow-up to the 'Skeletons' download-only album. My favourite song from 'Splinter' is 'The Killing Fields' which features a typical Lunic voilin/viola + piano + guitar arrangement, underpinning dark lyrics. With two great albums behind them, it's surprising that Lunic hasn't enjoyed more success.

beautiful
I just got my copy of this album (Splinter) and I am really ecstatic about it. I love the atmosphere, Kaitee’s voice is so beautiful and almost surreal, it sounds great, I love the mix of instruments and genres, definitely a CD for the real music lovers and collectors.
I’ve heard about Lunic on Facebook. Kaitee invited me to hear the music and I loved it. I’ll definitely get the rest of their work, very soon I hope :)

WOW you guys are amazing. I just got your cd and all I can say is you guys rock. Your voice is awesome and the way all the instruments come together is just amazing. I am now very pissed that I could not make it to the show at Duffy's Tavern in Lincoln, NE because it would have been a blast. I hope that you guys enjoyed the cornhusker state. I can't wait for your next cd to come out so that I can hear more of your great music. Is there anywhere that I can get clothing of you guys? I would love to wear the LUNIC line.

Take care and talk soon,
Jeremy
