Album Notes
“Love is the Moon, the Stars, and the Sky” is an award-winning children’s book and original song that shows kids how to bring love into their daily lives. Life is really all about love, and this book instills that value in children at a young age. Love takes us to the happiest of places, and if kids feel love in the moon, the stars, and the sky, they know that love is everywhere. This book includes fun activities for parents to do with their children to reinforce these messages which may be found at

Kathy believes that children are our future. She grew up with six siblings in a house filled with love, gratitude, positive thinking and happiness. Inspired by her childhood, she created a series of children’s books and meditations. Joyohboy was then created to share, not only her stories, but others that will help children live a more peaceful life.

Lydia Clark is a singer/songwriter who has worked with children through music, dance, and theater in school programs, and private studios for almost 20 years. Clark, like Kathy Walsh, believes children are our future and works with anything from 100 to 300 kids a week in music programs. She was the recipient of the 2012 "Best Children's Song" from the New Mexico Music Awards and is currently working on her children's CD to be released later this year.

Kathy Walsh and Lydia Clark collaborated on this project to create an audio track of the book using the lyrics/story of the book itself. This has resulted in a delightful way of communicating the message of love and light through music as well as written words and illustrations. They will brighten your day.

With 20 years of experience working with children through the arts and education, Kathy’s hope is that joyohboy has the power to bring her lessons of love and light to children in widespread places. She has designed and launched programs for children at the Rudolf Steiner School in New York City and the Connecticut Conservatory of the Arts in New Milford. Living in both New York City and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kathy creates children’s workshops and writes a blog on how to raise spiritually savvy kids. Kathy has two peaceful children of her own, Kara and Kayle.
