Album Notes
A Canadian songwriter meets a German painter at The Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus Artist Retreat in Northern Canada. Inspired by the woman on the canvas, Lyn did the biblical research, found a rich tale of lies, deception, mystery & intrigue and wrote the song. A woman forced to do what she must to survive. On the last night of the retreat, Lyn sang the song for Inge & Inge surprised Lyn with her own original painting -The Veil of Tamar.

The Veil of Tamar was recorded with a SaskMusic grant with support provided by the Government of Saskatchewan. The song was a semi-finalist in the 2014 UK Songwriting Competition.
