Album Notes
Lynda Covello & her Deep Dark Secrets are a jazz 'n' blues ensemble comprised of some of the finest musicians from Toronto's richly talented music scene: Tony Quarrington, Mark Kieswetter, Jordan O'Connor, Chris Gale, Sly Juhas and Ian MacGilligray. This is their first album, the vision of jazz vocalist Lynda and juno award winning producer and musician, Tony Quarrington. A concept album of torch songs old and new, it explores the idea of wanting what you can't have, knowing it's wrong and wanting it anyway. In addition to the original title song for the album written by Tony, there are 13 new arrangements of standard jazz torch songs, traditional, R & B and contemporary songs.
