ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My Mountain Home is a healthy mixture of country and gospel, and both parties involved are excited to finally release the long-awaited album. With help from the band The Mountain Kin, Lynn and the others represent the Mountain State gorgeously through their music and Appalachian pride.

“It’s sure to please everyone who enjoys country, folk, mountain and vocal-friendly songs.” Beckman said.

Deemed the “Word Slinger,” Beckman was born in Keyser, WV, and began his musical endeavors mostly at his local church and elementary school. With ten albums to his credit, Beckman enjoyed a productive career prior to signing with Mon Hills in 2016. The independent record company at West Virginia University’s College of Creative Arts. Mon Hills is proud of one of their greatest artists and excited for their future projects to come. Lynn and everyone at Mon Hills is excited to present this album to their West Virginian family.

Band members include: George S. Park, Jr., on steel, acoustic and electric guitars; Roy "Tiny" Uphold banging the Drums; Tim Beckman, with the electric lead guitar and vocal harmonies; Jimmy Flanigan, on rhythm guitar and harmonica; and finally Rick Beckman, with the electric bass guitar and vocal harmonies as well.
